Metal Fingers Presents (Special Herbs The Box Set Vol 0 - 9) Metal Fingers Presents (Special Herbs The Box Set Vol 0 - 9) 2004 Nature Sounds. Special Herbs: The Box Set isn't really a box set, at least not in the proper sense. Yes, it does draw from all ten volumes of the Special Herbs series, but it's not a ten-disc set or anything like that. Imperial march garageband. Rather, it's a two-disc mix CD that includes roughly two-minute snippets of 72 different MF Doom productions.

This limited edition box set of Metal Fingers' Special Herbs is made up of 3 CDs. The first two, are mixed extracts from the initial ten volumes of the Special Herbs series.^[1] The third disc is a collection of KMD instrumentals.^[1]

The Box Set was released on January 24, 2006, limited to 7,500 copies. Reissued with some minor artwork changes to the digipak inlay cards and the disc labels in August 2012, and unlike 2006's 3-CD Special Herbs mix, this collection contains all the beats in their full, original form.

Previously released as 10 seperate volumes, this box set chronicles the entire series of Special Herbs instrumentals, seemlessly blended together into two 75 minute mixes by DOOM himself. The definitive MF Doom instrumentals set, period.Special Herbs: The Boxset Vol. 0-9 features the entire 10-volume Special Herbs series - never available on vinyl before - spread over 10 LPs (packaged in metallic silver jackets), and unlike the 3-CD set from a few years ago, the tracks are UNMIXED giving you the chance to enjoy each of the mysterious rapper/producer's creations in its original.
